I see this question popping up everywhere lately, especially among beginners and creators who don’t want to deal with hosting, SEO, or building a full website.
So I’m curious how this looks in practice today.
Is anyone here successfully doing affiliate marketing without owning a website?
By that I mean:
no blog
no landing pages
no SEO-driven content
Just platforms like:
YouTube
TikTok / Instagram
X (Twitter)
Reddit / forums
email-only setups
If yes:
which traffic source works best for you right now?
are you using organic or paid traffic?
short-term income or something stable long-term?
And for those who tried it and failed:
what was the biggest issue?
bans, low conversions, no trust, scaling problems?
Do you think running affiliate offers without a website is still a viable strategy in 2026, or is it better to treat it only as a starting point before building something you actually own?
